Default OEM Turbo S Wing on Ebay

At $1200, this is a steal for a $4800 factory part. No affiliation, blah blah....

If you compared the two in fitment and quality, you wouldnt be asking that question. Although MA Shaw makes nice pieces, there is nothing that compares to OEM.

Ritter:

I have fitted both the OEM and MA Shaw TTS tails. For a NA car, the MA Shaw piece is lighter. However, if you want to get a good seal on the top of the intercooler on the TT, the OEM piece is the best way to go as the underside of the part is molded to work with the seals on the intercooler top baffle plate.

I've never seen either up close so it was a real question.
I'm actually quite happy with the NA OEM (retractable) wing.
I love its subtlety.
BUT (theres always a big but) I do also like the Turbo S wing. I'd just like to have the Turbo S car underneath it first.

I am watching it. If it is still reasonable near the end, I may snipe it. I just don't see any point in driving up the bid $$ now.

If it goes for $1,200 its worth it. I'm dealing with the MAShaw product now, and OEM would be the better route of course.

So if more then one person is using the service for the same item who decided which person will get to win the auction or is it luck of the draw?

Highest bidder. If two bid at the same time at the same price I am guessing the one that put the snipe in first,,,just a guess.

Something I just realized for those watching this auction. It appears the wing does not come with the TWO, yes, two, grille pieces to make the top side complete.

I know from personal expereience that the "lower" black plastic grille piece is around $280.00, and for some reason I think the top section that is usually painted on the turbo S wing is NLA, but I could be wrong. This top piece sandwiches the black vinyl piece between it and the tail base. Something to think about before bidding. If the top piece is still available, I'm sure its at least another $300-400.

By the time you are done, you will be looking at $2K plus. The the grills and the extra hardware necessary for mounting will cost quite a bit. These spoilers are not just one piece!
