Don, I think I've spin tested mine at about 95 mph (you've got me beat!). I spun in turn 1 at TH when I was "relearning" to drive after upping my springs to 600/800. I blame the new springs because it couldn't have been the driver.

I have a set that I am dying to put on. Just trying to figure out what spring rates I want. Does anyone know if you can change out the springs only without messing up the alignment and corner-balance. I have 10k / 14k and I am thinking that may be a little too stiff, but I want to try them out first.

JIC seem like a reasonable alternative to PSS9, but they're not perfect either. A good friend had one **** start free-spinning after about 2 seasons. Same thing has happened with some PSS9's (mostly early ones I believe). Had to send back for rebuild (quoted a couple weeks). So they're not the end-all/be-all, but it's nice to have choices!

You can change out the springs without too much disruption to your alignment (we've done it to mine a couple times at the track as we were trying to determine the best spring rate and alignment) but you would normally want to re-do the alignmnet once you got the springs you want in place.
For a strret rtack car, the mid ragnge springs should be ok. For a track only car, I would start with the high range and go up if necessary/desired. You can change the spring rates quite a bit before you need to revalve the shocks. The JIC/Cross folk can and will do a custom set up if you know what you want (or if you make big changes).

I love my JIC setup. TRG bars, and 8/10kg springs. It performs very well on the track, but I keep thinking about going up to the 10/14. Grass is always greener, right?
