Default PSS9 Owners - Post Your Settings

I'd be interested to see what settings F/R you're using for the street and track (if you track) and how you would characterize your ride/handling at those settings.

1f/1r all the time! It rides firmly, but not harsh, in my opinion.

When my 993 was on PSS-9's way back when, for the track, I kept it anywhere from 2F/1R (harder in the rear) to 1F/3R (softer in the rear), depending on what the car was doing and how I was trying to mitigate under or oversteer.

For street use, I sometimes had it at 7F/5R but, since the car rarely saw road use, usually ended up being too lazy to switch it from the track setting to a softer, street setting.

Street - 1f/2r - not too harsh. Pleasant ride...

Track - 6f/5r - better, and works for my driving style on the track, along with the tire pressures/combo...

HTH!

When first installed, was 4R/5F, nice and neutral handling, very comfortable for street. Now I'm running 1/1 on the street, it's still tolerable, and I can't wait to get to the track

(Keep in mind, the lower the number, the stiffer it is)

4 front/3 rear on the street for me. Not too firm but nice control at speed, allows you to feel the set for turns.

Full soft for the street (9/9) and I think I used 3/1 for the track. Full firm was to much and the car handled a lot better with the front set a tad softer. I also ran the RS sways at middle/firm.

I tried different ones. I used to run 9/9 but it was too soft so I run 5/5 on the street. I tighten that up to 2/1 or 1/1 for thetrack.

Cheers,

Mike

I run street only and tend to play with setting anywhere between 4-7. I have tried variations of soft front/rear and am currently at 5f 6r....pressures are 36-38.........that was using my 18" plus p-zeros, now I have changed to my winter set up of 17" plus blizzaks with pressures all round. I find the 1 and 2 setting too harsh for our pot-holed streets in MD..........otherwise it is nice...... one thing to wtach for is that the rear setting **** is actually doing something......when I was in getting an alignment done recently the tech noticed the setting on one side was at 1 and 5 on the other side, on further investigation he detected that the wheel was loose and lthough "clicking" was not actually doing anything..........he tightened it up and now it is fine.........

Either 1/1 or 3/1 for autocross/track and still trying to figure out the best setting for the street. I think I'm currently running 7/5, but it feels too squirrley. Since I don't daily drive my car and only pull it out when I want to really drive, I was using the track settings for a while. A little harsh, but handles awesome!

1/1 for the track, 6/6 for the street.

I've never thought it would help to use 2 on the track, because there's a bigger difference between 1 and 2 AFAIK. I.e. a greater difference than from 3 to 2...the damping is not "linear" with the setting. Then again, I've never even bothered experimenting with 2 on the track.

When I first got them, 6/6 was pretty good on the street.

That is true, I believe that's the case for both the 9 and 1 settings.

9/9 street
1/1 track
....only because it is easiest to adjust to those numbers by feel.
