Default FPB takes one for the team.

The Press and OxyAce torch saved the little guy, but it was touch and go there for a while.

It's moments like these that make you appreciate the little things in life. If you don't have your health... sniff...

That was one heck-of-a hit! How did that happen?

I don't know, but I'm guessing it might have happened when I let my brother in law drive the car last weekend. Fortunately, no other damage at all. Even the mounting screw hole where the bar ripped out isn't stripped - the head popped off the screw when it sheared! All I had to do was back the remainder out with a pliars.

These bars are great. Maybe a good idea to list them in all those "which mod should I do first" threads!

Sounds like the title should read "FPB takes one for the family".

Colin,

If I had the time I'd try and find the thread where it was being proposed that the FPB was unnecessary. The point being that it's lower than the front bumper and just makes you run aground sooner....

Guess you proved 'em wrong. If anyone's 993 is lowered, they are a necessity.
