New Swedish member says "Hi" (with pics)
Heya fellas!
Finally got around purchasing my long-awaited Rennlist membership. I have since a couple of weeks back been browsing these forums with great enthusiasm. Had no idea so much porsche knowledge was to be found in one place, fantastic! After reading like 1000+ posts in the last couple of weeks, I now feel that I am experienced enough to post myself! My roommate and my girlfriend are both amazed by the fact that you are able to sit for hours browsing Porsche forums.. I guess they have no idea what this is all about?
So here I am, another Swedish addition to the board. Here posted are a few pics of my first and current Porsche, which was purchased on May 31th 2006. Since I was a little kid I have always been into boatracing. That translates to hydroplane motorboat racing for those of you intressted. Anyways, that turned out to be time consuming and way out of my budget.. But I have always loved motorsports and I have had my eyes on Porsches for a couple of years back. Now I am a total addict, I lovet it Before moving onto Porsches, my first car was a BMW 325i Coupe, followed by a 328i Couple. Then a couple of Golfs, the e46 330Ci and now finally my first porsche.
Finally, I must say I am a proud newcomer to this community and from what I have read so far (which is quite a lot), there seems to be a hole bunch of really nice guys here, willing to help and share their expert knowledge! Looking forward to chatting with you guys! Here some pics of my '97 993 C2S Vesuvius metallic beauty, Enjoy and have a nice weekend!

Anyways, I would love to goto Nürnburgring one of these days.. I think its a "must" for all Porsche addicts, no matter what laptime, just to have driven it. I have lost count of how many times I have driven it on my xbox but I guess that doesn't count
Only during the past 4months there has been 3 really nice C2S Vesuvius up for grabs in Sweden.. Don't know why they are common here.. Mine was imported from the UK though originally from Germany (Porsche Centrum Lennetal). I read in a post that there were around 3000 C2S produced total and like 20% of them (the most common colour) were Vesuvius.. Maybe im not that unique after all That would mean that a black C2S or a arctic C2S is more unique than a Vesuvius?? Seems odd but the fact that Vesuvius is only available on the C2S maybe contributes to its uniqueness... someone??
Later guys, /Viggo
