Hey geolab, nice to see you around!

Yeah you noticed I have the spacers. When I bought the car it had 19" bling bling chrome wheels on and I decided to go with the 18" Turbo wheels. After some time I figured out that these were not oem hollow or solid spokes but rather RH Turbolook wheels. The Original 31mm spacers are still on the car, which you noticed. I am now thinking of either removing the spacers and going for 18hollows, or getting 17" CupII's and paint the centers Steel grey to restore the original look of this Vesuvius specimen.. That would also include amber tail lights and front indicators.. what do you guys think? For the enthusiast, this might be a ++, but I would say most of us here like the appearance of the 18" turbo twist/Clear frontindicators/Red taillights better...Btw geolab, I have seen your C2S in several posts and its looks absolutely stunning!

Welcome to the board. As for the amount of time spent on RL, do what many of us do when explaining it to our wives/s.o.'s, call it "Porsche ****" and tell them it's better than spending our time looking for real **** on the web. My wife has no problem w/ me looking at Porsche ****!

Now maybe we need to establish a RennList Swedish Bikini Team........

Beautiful car by the way!

Hi Viggo,
Immaculate wide body! If you do decide to go for a set of 'hollows', take a look at the 996TT variety ...wider @ 11" in the rear.

Default awesome pix

Thanks for sharing the great pics Viggo and welcome. That car is so beautiful, I'd be terrified to drive it.

Anyways, I would love to goto Nürnburgring one of these days.. I have lost count of how many times I have driven it on my xbox but I guess that doesn't count
au contraire, it most certainly does count

Agree, those would look great on your car.
Are the side mirrors painted grey from the factory? Nice contrast.
What model is the volvo...?

Yeah Matt, the mirrors, door handles, rear split grille (and also originally the centers of the CupII's not present here) are painted in Steal Grey from the factory. This was only done on this limited edition Vesuvius metallic which was only available on C2S..

Dunno about the Volvo, its a friend om mine's.. hehe. Volvo is too common in Sweden too be appealing to me... hehe Anyways Matt, you dont think it would be a good idea to restore the original look with the CupII's with amber lights, like in the picture below? You would rather stick with turbo twists right? Like picture 2? Thx for your input! Cheers

Nice nice nice!

BTW, the Volvo is a 122 or commonly known as an Amazon. I had one of those as my first car only it was a wagon. Talk about a babe magnet!
