TJ-- go with either ROW M030 springs or H&R -- many reports of Eibach springs sagging despite their warranty - FYI

I presume you test this my measuring spring height once they are out of the car and compare them to new?

Another VERY important thing to consider is that there are m030 USA and ROW versions. I assume that most throw around the m030 tag and assume folks know that it is the ROW. But I didn't and thankfully worked through the differences with Mike prior to buying the m030 ROW springs. I saw an internet posting that clearly showed the differences between the two and they were significant.

Just a quick throw in here for those that are trying to wrap their heads around change possibilities AND those, like me, that sought lightly used springs as opposed to going with new ones.

What are the differences between the 2 springs? The M030 front shocks are the same everywhere...

There was a recent post that discussed two or three spring rates for the ROW M030. I've also got a 95 cab and bought my HD/M030s before I saw that thread. As it turns out, I bought the stiffer springs (which I belive are for turbos) which is not a bad option given that the cabs are a little heavier in the back but I still notice slightly more stiffness in the back vs the front (IIRC the fronts are all the same). Do a search and figure out what works for you.

As far as the options available, I also drive aggressively and the HDs do a great job. I do AX and DE and provided you've got the right alignment setup, you may not need to go beyond this unless you plan on spending lots of time at the track.

Length i.e. ride heigth.

I cannot speak to the stiffness as that was not discussed in the article.

Also, RoW M030 are progressive whereas US M030 are straight-rate. I changed from US M030 to RoW M030 on my previous 993 and got a better ride in addition to better looks.

Are you sure about that? (not trying to be snide) I knew that the stock US springs were linear rate and ROW MO30 were progressive rate, but I'm surprised if US MO30 springs are linear rate.

Any thoughts to the PSS9 Kit and that set up? Spings and all.

Ya know, it's something I read in Viken's info in the suspension FAQ and would swear that I noticed it when I changed over from US M030 to RoW M030 springs in 2000, but I'd probably swear that I saw the Kennedy assassination, too...

Still looking for data.
