Default RSCS Clone Transformation

In preparation for the RS Carpet Kit from App Biz, I started rippin' things out today...literally...that carpet glue is incredibly nasty!

I hear ya son ! Tear it up! You may want to try goof off, it'll probably melt that glue right off. See if you lived closer I would have been there stripping it with ya.
BTW, you make me sick with that garage...........nicer than my damn livingroom

Wish you were here too...and the garage is nice, but just try finding a tiny screw that you dropped on that floor. It virtually disappears on ya!

I have to say I'm a bit disappointed in ya Chris...you didnt notice the broken alternator belt in the back seat in that one pic? lol!

Been there, done that, didn't like it. Remember, the rollbar mounting goes to the seat belt retractors there. So we will need access. Don't have them glue too much in that area for now. The RSCS project begins....

I look forward to following your progress! Your garage looks very nice, and I commend you on your bravery for tearing into a project like that. How's she running? I couldn't be happier with the one I found.... but I do see suspension and LWFW in my future. Best of luck on your project.

Bob-

Got it covered, don't worry.

Doug-

Other than the broken alternator belt yesterday, shes running fine...and STRONG! It will definately out-accelerate my C2S, which does not have the LWF and chip. I knew the belt was going...heard a whistling noise for about 20 minutes prior to the break...then an awful noise from the engine bay. The car will be going through quite a few changes over the next month. Glad you found a good one.

I love your garage. Not only the garage but what's in it They both look just absolutely COOL. Is this how your dad started? If I remeber correctly you posted a pic of your dad garage a couple of weeks ago.

Good luck with your project. By the look of your garage and the S you do things right. Keep us all posted.

Fingerprints are history for sure...who needs 'em anyway!

I would suspect that in about 5 weeks this should be cosmetically finished, if not sooner. It depends on how fast parts arrive that were ordered.

The inspiration for this project is the picture below. The car should look exactly like this one very soon, minus the cheesy windshield lettering (IMHO) and the fog light brake ducts--Im going with the brake ducts alone (without fog lights) that will be completely functional.

OOOOh man I am salivating! That will be awesome!

Where did you decide to get your body mods from and will you be adding them yourself?

The front GT-2 splitter is coming from MA SHaw and I found a RSCS rear wing here on Rennlist from ZombiePorsche44. The RS side skirts are coming from Gert at carnewal, as are the RS Steering Wheel, shifter, radio delete plate, RS washer resovoir, hood rod support, and so on... I will be adding them to the car myself. Gotta love Rennlist!
