The most uncredible video ever seen...
in 1956 Hawthorn runs his Jaguar in Le Mans with a camera on the back of thecar and a microphone on his helmet...but the track is still open to traffic!!!!!!!!!!!! Watch the bicycles and other cars while he's flat out! Just amazing! Try to imagine this today...

I'm sure there are some old POC racers here who remember racing in Baja CA, Mexico in the mid to late 90's.
Nothing like dodging pedestrians, animals & other things while at race speeds on temporary street courses to get your pucker factor up!
