Thanks alot for the pic. Did you turn the battery around with the neg. foward to get enough room for the switch and wires or just cram it all in against the fender?

Actually, the big Optima is a bit larger than the stock battery, and I had to remove/loosen the spare tire to get it in place. The battery is in the stock location, and while it is a tight fit, it does fit. I did have to slightly notch a portion of the bottom of the plastic piece that runs crossways over the trunk lid latch in order for it to clear the top of the battery.
The wires fit fine, and are not as close to the inner fender as it appears in the picture. Maybe there is some variance from car to car.
If I had to do over again, I'd probably get the "correct" 75/35 Optima, but making stuff fit is half the fun of Porsche ownership, right?

Thanks for the help. Now I'm trying to FIT more Porsches into the budget, then I'll worry about the garage. That's the kind of fit that really excites me.
