Just got off the phone with a client, he had a top 2%(IMHO) 98 c4s. Sold it, early december, for $74,000, and is upset that he did so. He has offered to buy it back, new owner wont sell. Now, maybe his car was in such great condition and such low mileage that it is not a good data point, but, we are talking about excellent condition cars, arent we?

Wow $74k, must have been a real beauty. I missed out on this one for $65k a very clean 13k original mile car with all the right options. Would have looked good in the garage. Needless to say it sold in 3 days.
