FIKSE FM-10 and Supercups

I see these upgrades in my future. Before pulling the trigger, I would like to see these first hand just to be sure...... so..... I would really appreciate help with the following:
1. Does anyone have 18 inch FM-10's on their NB 993? Could you post (or email) close-up pictures? I have seen good shots on the widebody cars, but I don't think you get that killer deep dish look with the correct offsets required for a NB car... would love to see exactly how they'll look on mine before deciding. I am thinking 18's in the "race anodized finish".
2. I have no sense for just how loud Supercups are on a 993; I am all for LOUD, but I'm not sure what I am getting into. I would gladly drive somehwere in VT, NH, MA, NY, Ottawa, Toronto, to hear them first hand. Any volunteers? I'll bring the beer - and promise not to be a pest.
Thanks and Best
Cheers~!

Hi Matt,
I have the FM-10's on my NB car, race satin centers and polished lips. You're not going to get that deep dish look with FM-10's and proper offsets.
I also have supercups. They are not deafeningly loud inside the car, but there is a nasty resonance at around 2800-3500 rpms, IIRC. Behind the car, however, is another story. I have seen flowers wilt and small shrubs lose their leaves when behind a supercup-equipped car that is revved to redline. Just kidding, but they are fairly loud.
If you can wait, I suggest going to a DE at Mont Tremblant or Mosport; there, you'll hear plenty of cars with these cans.

Hmm, any chance of getting some closeup shots of your wheels? I am esp. interested as they are in the satin finish.
As for the supecups, that's a great idea - I did three DE's at Tremblant last year but don't recall anyone with Supercups AFAIK. There was one silver 993 from NH that sounded great - he said he was running Fabspeed's, but I think they must have been Maxflows. I did not know enough then to look properly.

Even the race satin finish will experience some staining from tough brake pads with a high iron content such as Hawk Blues, but the good thing about the race satin is that you can power wash them and not have to worry about stripping off paint. I just blasted the hell out of my FM-10's a couple of weekends ago and used the 0 degree, "pencil" setting on my Honda-powered PW. It got most of the crud off. I'll need to attack the tough spots with a dremel polishing bit and some polishing rouge.

I was at a Roebling DE recently and heard a set of X-Pipes with DACH cans on a 993...lets just say it sounded like nothing else on the track, in a VERY good way. This setup will be on my 95 C2 track car in the very near future.

A little extra time on your hands this winter?

Yeah, I'll never buy wheels that need to be polished. I have had two sets of Fikse's FM-5 and FM-10 what a pain in after track days. I'll stick w/ painted wheels. I just wish they made SSR Comps to fit the NB 993

Here's my NB 993 FM10's that I found on eBay earlier this year. They are Technipolish finish, which are anodized centers with polished rims. They are amazingly easy to clean with a soft wheel cleaning brush and soapy water. But I don't track my car, and I have Hawk HPS pads which generate almost no brake dust.
As others have said, the ones with the correct NB offset will not be deep dish.
