Default 993 OEM Factory RS Suspension For Sale

I just posted in the classifieds, number 10158, a complete factory 993 RS suspension (monoballs, shocks, springs, sways, droplinks and mounts). I replaced the original shocks with new OEM Porsche RS shocks purchased from Carnewal. They have less than 5,000 street miles on them and no track time to speak of. The set is complete with all Porsche RS hardware.

Also, not listed in the classifieds is a second set of shocks only, the original ones, that I sent back to Bilstein to be rebuilt.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

Hank

Hank,
Are you willing to sell the sways separately?

Matt, maybe in a couple weeks. I'll e-mail you if I end up breaking up the set.

Default Hank...let's talk...

What do you want for the package? I have the PSS9s and TRD set up with ERP Monoballs...I think it would be nifty if I had original 993RS stuff. If we agree on a price, I'll sell off my stuff...should go pretty quick...

Don't you think, in an esthetic sense, that you 993RS stuff should go on my car? I do!

Martin,

I've set the initial price at $3500. Look in the classifieds and you'll find several pictures. There is no doubt that the RS stuff was made for your car! Not trying to discourage you, but I think you'd be making a lateral move buying this stuff. In my opinion, the perfect buyer would have a stock or M030 suspension looking for the next step or possibly someone looking for authentic RS parts. I know you track your car often and probably have it set up perfectly for that. You'd have to start all over with ride heights, rake and swaybar settings without benefit of adjustability for rebound or compression.

Hank,

I see you've listed these on Ebay:

It's really nice to see someone honestly describe a product for sale as you've done here and in your auction.

Good luck with your sale.

Oh, and please put me in line behind Matt if you want to sell the sways separately.

Thanks

It's a better choice to keep the PSS9, to go for RS shocks and springs are a downgrade.

Cool Sob, choke.....

I guess I am not really the best candidate for these great parts from Hank. Maybe I'll invest in the ERP products. I already have their kinematic toe link, maybe the camber link is next????

Martin,

Please don't be upset with me. I am just trying to focus your budget on more meaningful mods. It is what any good Porsche mate would do for another - isn't it?

Martin,
Just go on and get the Moton Club Sports. Easier and cheaper to just do it right the first time. I know I am not helping....

Good to hear from you Hank! If you guys don't know Hank you can be assured you are buying from a top quality individual.

Cool Hank Commercial.....

I don't know Hank personally, but I know that he has been a big Rennlist contributor and supporter for years. If you buy it from Hank, you are golden. There will be no surprises.

And Hank, I appreciate your suggestion, and Greg too...those Moton Club Sports are sweet. In the real world, when I get to the edge in my car, then I will make a change (To a GT3 I hope!). Right now, I am still trying to wring out the most from my little 993 NA car.
