Wow Tim - these cars are great in the snow - but with snow tires and, I'm guessing, all-wheel drive? So why is yours a 2wd? Did you remove the front drive shafts? Been thinking of doing the same just for fun...

Heres a pic I snapped last spring while taking a Cayenne Turbo to Wyoming, which had awesome snow tires. Tim, Continental sportcontacts are not Porsche approved snow tires.. Glad you got it home.

We've got a storm here in the NW. I haven't seen anything like it in years. Over a foot of snow in the city. I thought I was going to be okay with the p-car year-round but not in these conditions. I gave in and bought a 4x4.

They put down Magnisum Chloride and then sand. So not really. The Mag Chlor is not great stuff but I don't think it is as bad as salt.
