Default Snowmobile TT 2wd :)

Well, I was out at a client site today and fully expected to be back all the way across town BEFORE the snow flew.

As any of you guys in computers know, the best layed plans of Geeks and Men are often fragile.

So at 8pm I was leaving there for the ol homestead...................

The 2wd 1997 Porsche Twin Turbo did fine at 30mph and below.

I could not believe all the looks I was getting from people.....and more than one was snapping pictures.

She is home safe and sound.........19in rims and all

Tim,

That does look like a blast but maybe not in a TT. Glad you made it home safely... how many inches on the ground now?

I wish I could bring myself to drive my C4 in the winter, but unlike Colorado, we use salt on the roads. Yuck!

I have the same '07 XC90 (AWD V8). Although we haven't had snow around here yet....although we might get hit this weekend.

No, no...engine cover OFF...gives you better traction by quickly melting the snow under the rear for better tire grip! You may be able to apply for some reimbursement from the County for snow removal assistance.

911s, and 356s and 912s for that matter, are great fun in the snow!

To funny Bull! True to I bet.

There is about 4 inches or so but what was rough was the ice under the few inches. To be honest I was actually impressed with the way she went thru the snow. Took som e tender care on the throttle and a light touch on the steering wheel but it did just fine. The tires are new so even though the 315x2519 is not in any way a snow tire it did alright.

You had to really becareful to stay off any power or the car would tell you No....don't do that...

I was "lucky" (or so I thought). Left work about 4 PM. Snow was so deep and slick the C2 sits at the curb covered with snow. I can't get it up the sloped driveway. Fort Collins here.
