Arrow 2006-2007 Winter Projects?

Last year we had a fun Winter Projects thread to see what everyone planned on doing to their cars over the winter months.

Last year, I had some big projects, like replace suspension, etc., however this year seems to be a bit more toned down.

What's on your list?

• Replace spoiler bearing (DONE)
• Replace front hood shocks (DONE)
• Replace brake/clutch foot pads (DONE)
• Replace SAI check valve (DONE)
• Adjust drivers side convertible top to window seal (rear edge) (DONE)
• Replace headlight glass (maybe.....11/10 decided to do it) (DONE)
• Replace inner/outer LF CV boots (RECEIVED)
• Replace connectors on tonneau cover (DONE)

* Clutch & hydraulics in the 993 (when my bonus pays out)
* SAI while someone's in there
* Should do RoW M030 but the budget may not allow
* Harnesses & other safety gear in the 951
* Brakes in both cars.

Wow Jeff, that's quite a list. This winter I'm focusing on cosmetics:

• Replace headlight lenses (done; best $110 I've ever spent!)
• Replace all black carpet with gray
• Replace all black vinyl with gray
• Add carbon fiber bits
• Repaint rollbar
• New stereo & powered subwoofer
• Clutch kinematic lever

Winter projects? Below is what I'm planning to do.
Sorry, couldn't resist, I've "been there, done that" in Finland. While it's cruel to not to be able to drive, I like wrenching winter projects too. And that first drive when the spring comes, oh yea!

I'm with Finn and Eric (epj993)

Sebring and Road Atlanta

But to get ready for that, I need additional brake and oil cooling, a shift light (to remind me in the heat of battle), oil temp guage. And Data Acq sure would be fun, though I suspect I might not like the acquired data.

The 993s will just enjoy their long winter hibernation.

Well, after my final drive home (on a nice 68 degree day) I pulled into the garage and the convertible top wouldn't go up.

Checked the fuse, checked the switch, and put the top up manually. I guess I have to add diagnosing my convertible top to the list.

1. Ski at Snowbird 25x
2. Hit the Canyons at least 3x, sneak a day at Snowbasin as well.
3. Puerto Vallarta in Dec
4. Whistler in Feb.

As far as the car-put car cover on, take car cover off and drive when no salt or snow is on the roads. Check tires and make sure oil is ok.

- Modify my GT3 seats side mounts in order to lower the seats.
- Clean headlights and might have to wet sand them.
- Change distributor belt
- play with suspension height
- If finances allowes me, powder coat wheels and rollbar
