thoughts on my new 993 c4s
I know....u all want pics....I will take pics this w/e and post.
My 1st thoughts:
Getting in and hearing the clunk of the door makes me feel like I am in a solid car. Cranking it up and feeling the car shake a little, gave me goosebumps. The sound of the throttle is like music...and no MSP either.
Looking back at it after parking feels great. tHE RESPONSE OF THE throttle and brakes and sterring, make for a go-cart feel...like my old corrado, but better.
4th gear at 4K RPM and punch the pedal....wow
the hug of the sport seats...wow
The sound......sick
The smell...amazing
watching the polar silver change colors througout the day...priceless
it was fun trying to find the gaz door release **** at the gas station...not obvious.
I know why they put the stereo so far fr thr driver...to discourage usage
I know why u guys do the key conversion now...."I cant find the hole in the dark"
I have to say that my expectations were definately met. I took the day off today and drove everywhere.....well worth it. I will continue posting my thoughts throughout the w/e.
The seller "Joe" is a gentleman and it was a smooth transaction.

Take it sideways around a few corners. A C4 (S in your case) is a blast once you get the hang of how it handles sideways. Get down on it and let it fly!!
You bought Polar Silver-cool. Do yourealize they Polar Silver in a 96 C4S is the slowest and the least HP vehicle made by Porsche? Ask any Polar Silver owner-they know. :-)

Congrats. If you are like most of us, that feeling will never go away. Sorest part of my body after a day of driving my car is my face......from grinning
