rcwelch First drive in almost a month...JOY
On October 3, I suffered a stroke and with all of your prayers and well wishes and with the help of my wife today, I took my first drive in my baby. It was short, but what a feeling of joy to be able to do that. I had worried that the battery would be dead, but she fired right up. I have had several follow up visits to the doctor and it seems as if I have no lasting effects ( other than I dropped 20 pounds...hurray). I want to thank all of you who sent me well wishes thru a thread earlier and although I'm weak , I'M BACK!

I was just about to post about how you were doing. It i great to hear you are out in your car and enjoying life. Please don't tell anybody that the weather here has been great. I had the 993 out Monday and today!

YIPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!! So glad that you are feeling much better. There is no better therapy in the world (other than maybe a hug and a kiss from your better half) then getting out in your car and going for a drive no matter weather it's around the block or across the country.
