Wonder if there are any dots to indicate it is a "race version"....

Not on the flywheel but on the pressure plate that is bolted to the flywheel there is a paint dot. The color denotes the clamping force and model application.

LOL! I wasn't expecting that answer. My experience is either with stock or with a race clutch that was designed to hold for the likes of a race prepped GT2.

Yup, that is the stock 964 pressure plate. Was it advertised/sold to you as an "RS upgrade"?

I don't know what Porsche motorsports does with their pressure plates the only thing I ever bought from them was a replacement RMS for a GT3 cup and all they did was to scrape off the part number and trademark from a regular GT3 RMS but for the stock PAG stuff;

Thanks Jason, no they didn't. Just the clutch disk has a GT3 reference number.
