Steve,
That's the car for your collection... 1 of 16 built in the world... hard to beat

I believe its a very special manual gearbox with an electronically controlled clutch... like SMG. I believe thare are some issues with it, and some guys have converted to a regular, clutched 6-speed gearbox.

Here's a RUF local to me that I've personally seen. It's impeccable and know the PO is a fanatic.

no affiliation of course.
It's weird. There's not many parts. I'm baffled at how it could work with what's pictured.
PS - sorry to hijack Steve's thread. Ummm, I like the Turbo S very much.

I think this would be a nice addition to your collection Bruce Canepa usually has TT's or knows where to find them

spg ~ good luck in your search. if a special "s" pops up, will let ya know.
btw: i'd also look at 959's and possibly a nice speedster 89 or '94... just my 2¢.
special aircoolers would make for an amazing collection... you're def. on your way.
love to see what you're doing w/ the space you're storing them in... you'll probabaly have to set it up like a min- jay leno hangar. he has a fulltime master mech. for all his rides & even a dyno... tbh he is saving a lot of automotive history. great.

for some reason the camera lenses that RUF use to photograph the cars make them look a bit out of proportion. I was there today- and i've seen that ctr about 3 times- full kevlar body and carbon fiber...it looks great. that yellow one on their site looks great too, and it's got the integrated roll cage thing.
