Since you're asking, it's knd of a tough call for me. I'm very much not a fan of the techno wheels. But I also am not very fond of the RE wheels. If forced to make a choice, I'd go RE. If I had my druthers, I'd sell the RE's, take a loss and go RS-GT in anthracite black.

i for one am tired of turbo twists, they are on every porsche, 993's 944's 928's boxsters, 996's. Those arent my favorite bbs wheel patern, but they are still really nice, and probably a higher quality and also lighter wheel then the OE porsche ones. But i would say go for those if for no other reason then they arent turbo twist wheels.

fwiw: i prefer the bbs... newer look/freshens it up. though i do think the techs could look cool in that dark metalic gray color of the newer tt-s. my2¢

Rich,

LOL. I was in advertising, an advertising photographer, actually. I'm now in real estate.

He did ask.

BTW, I love your work.

Between the two, I prefer the BBS. Really gives it a more modern updated look. Sharp car either way.

bad photo, but you get the idea.

my cab is your cab's twin sister... just diff. shoes. mine is a 'my97', yours? be funny if they were born on the same day.

OEM. That's the route I took. BTW, I'm installing HD/M030s in the next couple of weeks. What's your ride height? Looks like between RS and ROW Sport...

If I considered the harmony between wheel and car design as an independent pair, my vote is for the twists.
If there were many Porsches around wearing twists, then it is likely the originality of the design wears thin - and it is the quest for originality that has many switching wheels, to separate their car from the masses.
In this region, I'm the only 993 to be seen .... and the twists look just fine.

Also '97 Cab, triple black.

H&Rs with Bilsteins set at slightly above RS height.

Thanks for all of the input. Although it's about 50/50 right now. I guess that is why I was having a tough time deciding. Maybe I should leave it the way I took the photos. RE on one side and Technology wheels on the other.

BTW, yes, they are the hollow ones.

Twists! IMHO the BBS's look like they should be on a BMW.

Bias alert!!!

I not a fan of the twists ...and they are too common (for me, anyway). If it is only between these two, my vote goes to the BBS. Or if you really want my opinion ( ), go for the MY 02 5-spoke which is an OEM made by BBS wheel.

Edward
