Default Used Bilstein PSS9 for sale.

The rear right hand adjustment **** on my 2003 PSS9s has decided to carry on spinning which ever way you twist it !
This is pretty inconvienient as I need the car to be 100% for an upcoming event.
Normally, if time would have allowed I would have just got the two rears refurbished - but have been forced to buy a full new set of PSS9 which arrive on Monday.
Soooo.......I will sell the old set, all in working condition AFAIK apart from the dodgy right hand rear ****.
If noone buys them in this condition, I will probably get them refurbed by Bilstein, but I think it is cheaper to get this done in the US than in Europe ?

Anyone interested please PM me with a realistic offer

I called and spoke to Bilstein - they said to reuild the shock shouldn't be more than $150 each (plus shipping).

Could this be a warranty item?

I believe Bilsteins have a lifetime warranty to the original purchaser.

Yeah they're lifetime for the original owner, but not transferrable. I asked

I had the same thing happen with the rear PSS9s...what a **** off. Taking off the rear shocks is one big pain in the butt. I just set it to 1 for the track and 9. I just hope I didn't spin it too far the first time it happened.

Same thing happened to me, but I made lemonade out of lemons and used the spinning **** failure as a reason to go to Motons. Steve Weiner took care of me and rebuilt the shock.

I've heard of this on-going weakness of the PSS9 ***** for years now. So I had decided long ago to find a good compromise setting for combo daily-driver and track duty: 5F/4R. Of course I eventually found the ultimate solution: buy a dedicated track car
