Default Nice 993 article in Excellence.

Thought I would jump over here from the 964 board to tell anyone who had not seen it about the 993 article in Excellence this month. It's pretty comprehensive with a follow up about specific things to look for when buying. All in all very complementary of the 993.

It's good article, but as usual the market values at the end are soft. IMHO.

No kidding?
I understand this might be a breach of copyright but I live very very far away from the US and I would not mind getting a copy of this article....

No Sh+! if they could be bought for that I would be snapping them up like crazy and making a helluva living. A 1st time buyer would look at these numbers and be disheartened when they went out to buy one. Maybe Excellence uses wholesale numbers. A 95 C4 cab with 47K (White 6 Speed) just sold at auction for $31750.00 and that is wholesale numbers. So once it hit the retail lot that car would be listed at $36,900.00

Certainly most here on Rennlist are "enthusiest"...and as such, probably take above average care of their cars. And we all know that a well kept/cared for car WILL command a pretty hefty premium over the "standard" on the street car. Maybe Excellence is basing their values on those "standard" cared for cars...? I see the all them all the time...cars advertised as "perfect"...but in reality, they have all the signs of an average kept car. Bottom line is that many people have a very different definition of a "perfect" or even excellent condition car.
