Best tires for rainy NW weather
I've done a search and found some info but not conclusive. So, what are the best tires for rainy weather and if you had your choice between Michellin's PS2s and Bridgestone's SO2s what would you choose? I have both sets and my rear PS2s are 18/265swhile the S02s are 18/285s.

I'd use S03s for rain instead of S02s.
For dry I don't think there's currently anything better than Falken Azenis RT-615. They would be OK in teh rain too.

I have tried pirelli's, Bridgestones SO2-A, Continental , and Michelin.
For the Rainy days here, the only tyre that sticks on wet paved roads is the Michelin.
all on dry are excellent
The model is the N1 ribbed one, not very easy to find.

I totally agree. I have tried all flavors of tires and the Michelin Pilot Sports are hands down the best in the wet. They are also more quiet on our harsh Seattle roads. The Bridgestone S02s and 03s were the worst in the wet.

I have the Michelin PS2's on my car here in Portland. They are GREAT in the wet. Neer had the Bridgestones, but I can't imagine anything being better than these Michelins! I am running 275/35 18 on the rear.

Thanks to everyone for your contribution. I set up my office a block away from my home this spring and got rid of the SUV. Now I'm getting ready to use the car as a daily driver through the fall/winter. We've done well with no rain so far but I have the PS2s on and am sure I'll be testing them out soon enough. Cheers.
