Default Yes, another HWFM application...

Ok, here I stand in front of the HWFM Application Acceptance Board in my fancy (read Goodwill) suit, with my resume' and credentials (mostly worthless dribble and receipts for parts whose capabilities faaaaar excede mine) in a seemingly hopeless attempt to join the team in which I have been coveting for so long.

My facts are mostly wrong, but I'm a firm believer of the old addage "if you can't dazzle them with details, then baffle them with bull****." My skills are pathetic at best, but I'll take any opportunity to screw something up - especially if it doesn't belong to me. I have no patience - I feel like I've been typing this for a month. I have the fashion sense of an Emmy Nominee - take that as you wish. Amongst other things, however I am full of useless information. For example, the LeMans 23 Hours has been run every year since 1923 - except 1936 (ok - I looked that up).

If my application is accepted, I have decided to let the powers that be grant my position and title.

Respectfully submitted,
John W. Gordon

Y'all are funny!! I needed that today.

As far as I'm concerned you've got my vote.

We need a pillar of usless Information in the HWFM community.

"driving skills" is an oxymoron in my book.

So, Mother Superior, are you implying that we call him John, the Pillar? Hmmm...

It may assist your petition were you to claim that you would be so slow at LeMans that it would be renamed 'Le Vingt-cinq heures' in your honour ... not the 23 hours ...

I'm still trying to figure out what a "drover" is...oh well I digress. Gordo, you will have to fill us in a little more on your prowess behind the wheel...we can't let a ringer slip in!

PS. John, I noticed that you did recognize the 1976 934RSR...that is one fast car and that is a no-no.

Anyone who does not know what a "drover" is should be banished. But I am a fair guy - search the racing/DE forum for GhettoRacer and you too, can learn all about droving.

Ok, just how bad a driver are you. Can you wreck your car while it's not moving like some of us ? How bout some sort of stupid Porsche driver/mechanic trick story?

Pillar of Mis Information might be a good title.
