As noted in post #37 I was quite impressed with your application.

I am also quite impressed by your ability to drive a DE and text message or post at the same time. Obviously you are quite slow, and worthy of this team. What's more you even got a swat from the old girl without even being a duly annointed team mate.

So what do we do for a team title. Perhaps Team Blackberry Whine? Something of your chosing, since Road America kept you waiting so long. (Hey, "Director of Patience" might be nice)
See? The GPBT sees the light...when it is shined in his bloodshot eyes...er, good post Boss!

This applicant obviously knows the definition of driving on-line at the track.

Since HWFM is bumped up the list, and just in case anyone missed my posts from before, I have the distinction a couple of weeks ago of having wrecked my first and only 911 while not moving! That's gotta be something well within the traditions of the HWFM Racing heritage. Search for "I got hit" on the 997 board if you want to read the sad story. The car is going to be at least two more weeks before I get it back. Once I get it fixed, I try to settle the diminished value issue with insurance, and figure out if I keep the car or move on to my next Porsche. In the mean time I'm driving a rented Scoobie Doo Outback. Nice car, but not my Porsche

Ouch Sorry to hear that MIke

We don't want the HWFMR standards and traditions upheld at the expense of our cars.

I hope you get the best resolution to that unfortunate incident.

All the best whatever happens. And glad you can joke about it now.

Please fax a beer to me... 867-5309. Although I'd really prefer a white Russian. Are you a white Russian?

(it is Friday? Yes, yes, it is)

Beer's not my job, but here's a martini. Just remember with martinis:

Ones just right
Two is not enough
Three is too many

Congratulations O-TM.

CMM, I still haven't gotten over Jimmy Carter getting rid of the three martini lunch. Why else to pick Marketing/Advertising as a career?????

I wasn't sure about your induction into the anonymous halls of HWFM until I read this acceptance speech. I believe you're an ideal member. In fact, you're clearly quite a member. : )
To thank "the little people" and to misquote the famously (deliberately?) over-acted joyous Sally Field blather was your ticket to obscurity amid the ranks of the unknown. Welcome to the road to nowhere.
