Question Jeb Bush Rumored to have a 993?

Hey has anyone down in Florida heard (or seen) that Jeb Bush has a 993 ? I heard this from a fairly reliable source but not sure if it's bull. If true that would give at least the possibility that George W. has taken a ride in our beloved 993 while seeing his brother etc...Any Florida Rennlisters heard this?

Also here is a VERY concerning (and very off topic) link I thought I'd share with the board. It will make you think hard about what Americans are faced with.

I'm curious about your post...............if W. has taken a ride in his little bro's 993, what exactly would that mean to us?

Talking Not a problem...

I think it would be sort of cool for the President to have a "993" model in his family that's all. Sorry if you didn't agree.

Careful. If "W" doesn't like the 993, it could become an "agent of terror" and thus a member of the "axis of evil"!!!

I think it's cool for anybody to have a 993... ...well...maybe except Michael Jackson...he probably prefers a "Red Flyer" wagon or maybe a "Huffy" with those cool handlebar tassles...

I never said anything remotely close to "I didn't agree", I just asked you a question and you assumed too much...........................ZP44

It's a fine line. No problem talking about Jerry Seifeld, but if that someone holds a government office it becomes an issue?

I would agree if the post is about politics or religion we should move it elsewhere. However, it really hasn't gone to that depth and hopefully will not beyond what we just discussed. If that is the furthest it goes then I am okay with it.

Axel of Evil! - Nice Marv!

We're not really talking politics, just a bit of humor @ G. Dub's expense - after 6 years, we should all be used to it.

Yeap. The problem with Politics especially in this day and age is that it can bring hostility and hard feelings. Just look what is happening at the OT board. Behind the screen name and the keyboard are real feelings and real people. Reading some people's comments on the OT it gives you a real take on what they are all about... An automotive forum does not need that. There are some real and huge issues in the world right now that affect all of us and there are extreme views on both sides. All of us we have our views and because the issues are so important it leads often to conflict. We dont need that on this forum or Rennlist for that matter. Over the years I have made some really wonderful friends here all because of our mutual passion for our 993's and Porsche in general. There is simply no need for religion or politics to spoil that.

I have placed my puny body next to Jeb here in Tallahassee. I can tell you that he cannot fit in my 993. He is too tall. His wife, Columba, may fit. She is less than 5 ft.

Thumbs up Wow...You guys !

Geez, NOT what I expected. We all have different backgrounds etc...But I must say I had no idea that several of us would have a problem with this. How about the novelty of our Iraq friend having a yellow 993? That's what prompted me to bring this up. No more no less. A family like the Bush's with the guys taking a ride once in awhile in a car that is unique (e.g. air coooled, consistent with old p-car designs, etc...) and we all frequent a website to discuss this car etc... is what I meant. It's not like we click on 911 in general... we click on "993". If the rumor is true (i.e. that Jeb has a "993"), that's cool. If not that's cool too.

Now some smart *** will respond here. Bring it on. Show your youth.

My last on this thread.
