Thumbs up Cargraphic 100 cell cats on Ebay

Hi Everyone,

Just noticed these in Germany with six days to go. I've got them on my car and they are excellent. They are a Bischoff fitting. No affiliations, etc. Current highest bid 201 Euros.

My auto translator gives this:

2 needed 100 does not auction-Zeller Sportkats of Cargraphic for all 993-models (whether that also in the Turbo and GT2 fits, knows I). I had mounted it at my 993RS, which are replaced however now by a "more open variant" : -). These Kats are bring among other things also part of the well known GT-Auspuffanlage of CARGRAPHIC, and noticeably achievement (and Sound). Suitably for all 993 Carrera 2, 4, 2S, 4S and RS. The Kats ran previously ca 32000km and are after a flawlessly existed AU well also technically full in order. The parts are themselves naturally complete out of noble steel, what does not come over on the pictures so, there noble steel also verfärbt. No winter business and rarely rain. With at the same time, also the two connection tubes and all clamps are out of V2A. The types signs with the numbers are yet well readable so that an entry might no problem its (either can Cargraphic or I with a letter copy of my RS help along). Can also at that 964 in the reconstruction on 2-flutige exhaust concern of that 993 relatedly become...

Yes, I suspect I could probably have done it better myself if I had a dictionary but what the hell it is free and it is funny! They have had four or five bids so far and there are six days to go so obviously a hot item. Pictures show pretty good condition though he is missing the brakect that sits in the middle and holds the two crossed pipes to the original cat fixing. Worst case it's a bit flat metal bent twice to give a "square - U" shaped bracket. I could send prople pictures and dimensions from mine if anyone did want to bid on them.

Again, no affiliation, just would love someone to enjoy a set as I love mine. :-)

Also on the same run I saw a new 959 for sale by Gemballe for $320k There's something you don't see every day!

Cheers,

David

Hi Caveman,

Good point out, however, I would add that I don't think the cats will fit std mufflers / silencers as the pipe diameter is different, so you would need to purchase Cargraphic mufflers or undertake some fab work, the olives (connectors are also a different diameter).

The connectors to the manifold should be fine - you can see the diameter step down in the pics.

I know this as I had a full bischoff system on my car and swapped it for a full cargraphic system that had one olive missing (ebay purchase) and the std olive was way too small diameter - i looked at many bodges (DIY's for the Americans) to make it fit but was pretty much impossible. The ebay seller bought me a replacement, fantastic seller, you don't see that everyday!

I would second that this is a top item.

Dansk 100 cell cats are about £1,500 new in the UK!

BTW the full system is an ideal match to a set of 9m billet heads - ask me how I know - 350BHP and 425nm of torque on the rolling road and 0 - 60 time of 4.8s on the racelogic data recorder on the track :-)

Cheers

Troy,

The €10 postage is Germany only, the buyer says he will post to Europe only.

Cheers

Hi John,

I'm running cargraphic sports cats and didn't have any issue with them fitting my RSRs? My olives are pretty much interchangeable with the spares that I have.

I hadn't noticed the only for sale in Germany bit. That's a shame.

Cheers,

David

Actually the ad says he'll post to Europe so he will go outside Germany. I brought mine back from the US in my rucksack - they don't weigh too much and as they are in four parts they pack up pretty small - if anyone is looking fro an excuse for a European vacation....

John - it hadn't escaped my notice that these would work well with smoe new heads... Colin reckons that a live remap with just these on the car could free up some extra hp. Maybe when I need a new clutch... ;-)

Cheers,

David

If he'll go to Europe you might be able to twist his arm to ship to US.... Alternatively, if you asked nicely and covered the on-shipping costs you could get them sent to the UK and I'd pass them on.

Has anyone dyno'd their 100-cell cats? If so, what were the gains, if any?

I haven't though I've heard estimates of up to 15hp are available due to the normal cat being so restrictive. It certainly is a lot more free-er flowing.

Instead of buying a used set of cats, has anyone gutted their existing cats and welded-in a new 100-cell core(s)? You know, I think I'm going to look into that and see how much it would cost.
