Plug Wires: $500!?
Plug wires, $500!? Does anybody have a source for cheaper Beru plug wires, or are there aftermarket wires that anyone recommends (that are cheaper?)
$500 is just plain INSANE for plug wires, dual plug or not...

1) Do you have a link to this ebay store?
2) Do the "ends" separate easily from the wires, simple DIY?
3) Is it the "ends" that go bad typically, or is it usually the wires themselves that get worn out?
Thanks!

Do a search, Im in the process of changing my wires that I bought from MarkRobinson (porschesolutions@gmail.com) - They are $129 and hes a rennlist sponsor. You do have to reuse the boots and caps from your existing set. It is my understanding that these are rarely bad (in my case, my old boots were fine).

I will post pics as soon as Im done (this weekend). I ordered the red wires so they should really show up in the pics versus the black. Just a note - the red wires that I have are not individually marked with the cylinder location. They are Beru wires but Im trying to devise a way to mark them (decal or ink) so that they are easily identifiable once they are in. Mark has been extremely responsive and answers emails / questions promptly.

I just finished mine and after doing the "run the motor in the dark" bit, I would have to say that I wouldn't think of doing the job and use my old boots. I had arching from everywhere!
P64, if you need wires with ends, PM me, my guy gets $400 for the complete Beru set.
