vertex has Beru full set now on sale to rennlist and pca members around 370-380 I think... (in panorama magazine ad)
got some in Jan for 330.

I bought my BERU set set from Pelican for around $369 a little over a year ago. Not sure what they have them now for, but worth to check.

Are you saying that you had arching by using the old boots? Was something conductive on there? I dont see how using your old boots would cause arching unless there was something conductive between the wire shielding and the boot or if the boot was cracked, cut or damaged in any way. Was the wire shileding damaged? My 11 YO car has 115k miles and the boots look like they are in great shape.

Perplexed.... Did you use anything to lube the wire/ boot interface?

Does this autohaus have a website? I'm going to change mine out over winter and want the cheapest source obviously.. I thought it was Pelican but obviously not...

The arching was with the old wires/boots. There were sparks jumping from everywhere (boot to wires over it etc). My point was that I would not bother chancing putting new leads with old boots, just do the complete job and be done for another 100K miles. My plugs on the other hand looked surprisingly well, all things considered. Not a bit of fowling or carbon deposits.
