Well I finally got around to changing the tranny fluid. Fluid was dark and thick. I'll definitely change it again within the year. Getting the fill plug off was a challenge but this is definely doable for the average rennlister. A worthwhile DIY.

Chris: Agreed. My track car fluid is changed two or three times a year. I was surprised at the condition of "S's" tranny fluid, however. I'll be changing it annually, if not sooner. It's in good shape and generally well cared for; purchased from the original owner, a PCA'er. Maybe this is a good example of the differemces between a PCA owner and a Rennlist owner???
After rereading most of the SAI threads I think my next project wil be to change the check valve. Does the board agree with a Q 10-15K mile change interval?

If its not too late - I bought my '95 in Oct 2004 with nearly 20k miles - for 10 year items I replaced all belts and did the pulley update; cleaned the ISV valve; serviced the TIP transmission (Fluid and filters); bled and replaced brake fluid and rubber brake line; repacked CV joint; lubed door hinges; and changed the smal oil filter which wasn't done at time of purchase. I've also driven it enough so I had the 30k service done in late 2005.
Peter: Its never too late. Did you notice a difference with the pulley update (?RS)? What condition was your SAI valve in at 20K miles? Arre you planning on updating-replacing the suspension?
