Help Needed - AC vent air flow

Hi,

No matter how I fiddle with the little rollers and the flaps, I cannot get the cold air from the vents (both sides) to flow towards my body. And I am a WIDE-body to boot.

The AC max position does pump COLD air, and the fan speed is good. I simply can't direct the air flow to cool me down quickly. Result is I don't drive my (black/black) RUF much during really hot days.

Is there a trick to do this right, or that's the way it is? Thanks again for the education.

I have a similar problem - I can't get the air flow to my face. I am 6'5" - aren't there any tall Germans?

Me too. I can get a little air from the left vent to hit my left upper arm and face, almost. The center vents do not move left enough to blow cold air on me. I sometimes direct some air to the bottom vent to cool my, uh, legs. Maybe I should wear a kilt.

If you add a duct to the kilt, you will have a cold air intake duct kit!

Marv,

Did you like the movie?

It is the most PIC (politically in-correct) movie I have seen in a LOOOOONG time, but just classical Mel Brooks. I loved it.

Amazing thing is that Mel wrote all the music. That's talent.

This is really a coincidence. I drove my car today in the 95 degree heat and wondered if others had the same issue. Can't get the airflow to hit me directly. The vents just don't have enough adjustment. My car does eventually get cool but it would be better if I had the air blowing direclty on me.
The Producer's was GREAT. My kids are just now picking up on Mel Brooks-we recently watched Young Frankenstein and High Anxiety.
