I hate the way chrome twists look on the 993. But that's just my opinion..

Chrome is a little too much "bling" for my tastes.

If they are hollow spoke twists there have been problems in the past with chroming them. I don't have the thread at hand but you could search.

Heck....just look at Tony's car in motion. Black looks fantastic on a Polar 993...especially with the silver lip.

Don't do chrome. Asthetics aside there are some degradation issues with the chroming process as Father of 3 has mentioned. Do a search under user Jeff993TT (I think)...he had a silver TT w/blue interior and pics of his chrome wheels were disturbing.

If you're going to chrome, you'd be better off polishing them.

I agree with everyone, your opinions are valuable to me it sure help me making a decision. For my part I think 993 wheels should be the OEM alloy but these I got them at a very reasonable price I was thinking about getting them strip and repaint them either black or that factory gray color. BTW what will it cost to have them stripped?

I wouldn't strip chrome wheels--the damage to the integrity of the wheels has already been done during the chroming process.
