Which of these three 1995 993 would you buy?

yes, I have to agree to that wonderful top down feeling (thus my boxster)
When I got my first convertible (a Z3), I wondered why I waited so darn long to buy one and let myself get talked out of one for so many years.
I think there are some people out there though that are NOT convertible people (I'm not one of them).

My 2 cents....
I'd buy the one that "has been tracked" a little. Then you won't worry about driving the thing. The coup has the classic 911/993 look, and IMHO I'd prefer it. Having said that women tend to dig cabs, etc...
Buy a car that is sharp but one you will also DRIVE. Have fun.

#2 if it is a true weekend, having fun sort of car, #3 if you think that you might be track bound.
People really seem to love their cabs and they also seem to pull a bit more at resale, or so some have said on this very board. I know this is true in So Cal. Good luck with whichever one you choose - and don't forget the PPI!!!

I think people shy away from higher mileage 993s because they just don't realize that 993s are pretty much bullet proof and expect there to be huge expenses with higher mileage ones (which doesn't seem to be true IMHO)

I'm reminded of Denis "Jenks" Jenkinson's (RIP) comment from the '90s, when he was asked about Porsche Coupes vs. Cabs: "Coupes are for drivers, Cabs are for poseurs".

Coupes are just fine my friend, but Cabs. IMHO offer you the best Porsche driving experience by far. Try one and you won't buy a coupe (unless tracking the car) again!
Jenks was obviously wrong (probably never owned a cab.)!

As I said, HE said (actually wrote) it, not me.

Awesome! I'm on my first Cab. (although my brother has owned several like you) and love it.
BTW, I wasn't picking on you about what Jenks said though.

Update, Car #1 was taken off the market, the cab was sold at $37,500.
I want a coupe, and #3 is still for sale, but at $39,000 which I feel is to much, for a car without full records.
I would also consider a 964 if it was nice, any other nice 95's out there? I have been offered a few 97, but that OBD II issue scares me, unless the price is to good.
