GTG in Seattle Updated with Sound and Videos! Good Comparo!
A little late but Randy is heading over to my place at about 1PM to talk about mufflers and generally talk about 993s. He has RSRs and I just did the LPMM thing.
Bogwan, anybody else? I am going to hit Costco for some adult malted beverages and peanuts. What could be better...993s with modded mufflers.
So, all you Seattle 993er and any other Porsche nuts come on down!
Mapquest 17310 Sylvester Rd SW in Burien. I am due west of the airport.
The finals should be done by then so head on over!

I wish that I could join you all, but I need to get an early start on the workweek tomorrow. I will take a raincheck, however. Have an adult beverage for me!

Here are some Pictures
We had a great day here in Seattle to look at 993s and listen to exhausts. Scotts car was stock and was obviosly the quietest. Next suprisingly was Randy's car with the RSRs. Dennis with the factory motor sound was third and had a nice bark. The LPMMs on my car with the curved bypass tube were the loudest but very acceptable for normal use.
Dennis has audio/video and hopefully will post soon. We were in an indutrial area and it is partoled for street racing so we were worried about cops showing up. That would have been no fun as I am sure we would have not been believed.
Cheers!

Thanks Bruce for having us all over...the company was great and the beer was well iced! Here is a picture of Dennis on 405 cruising about 65 and a picture of the group!
Thanks again Bruce and your mufflers sound GREAT.

Sounds like you guys had fun! Nice smile Dennis... ;-)
Interesting in that Dennis's car (which I have driven) was louder than the RSR's. Dennis and myself test drove his car and mine back to back. My car exhaust is stock and definitely had a different sound... but at 75,000 miles I think I have just blown the baffles inside the mufflers. I like to think at 100,000 miles I will have "Natural RSR's" !
Maybe when Dennis (and others) are up to my place in a couple of weeks we can do the test again and see if the results are the same...
Cheers,
Mike

I don't think I'll ever rid of the sh*t eating grin I seem to develop while driving these cars.
The outing was a lot of fun. The muffler bypass sounds incredible! A very distinct, throaty growl. It would be fantastic to expand the test side by side to include Supercups as well.
I'm pulling down the pics from my camera now, expect to see a post shortly!
