Not sure what the problem people are having with sending PM's. Seems to work fine with me.

Just sent you a PM.

I also live in Orange County, CA area ... near Tustin. Perhaps a visit would give me some clarity to your situation.

@mgianzero I am a brand new Renlist user, may I contact you regarding a 97 Targa I'm interested in purchasing? The seller claims there is an issue with a cable, and in my bit of searching on this forum, I've become somewhat afraid to consider a Targa 993. Sounds like you know a whole lot about Targa's and I'd like to just ask for your advice. Thank you in advance.

Sure. Ask away.

Targa's can be a little bit of a nuisance, but as long as you care for them properly, they are not so bad. I live in southern CA. I can look at it (or take pictures) and maybe I can give some advice.

Thank You! Unfortunately it appears I’m not allowed yet to DM you, probably because I am new to Rennlist and only have one post so far. The car in question is located in Southern California. And I am really interested in sharing pictures with you as soon as I have the ability to DM you.
