Gordo,
Get the blue Monaco, it is very cool!
Robin, my GMT II is maybe 5 sec. or so fast every month, as said, you should get your piece regulated.

Tag Heuer 6000 Chrono, stainless with black face. Wife bought it as an anniversary present several years ago. I later bought her a Tag polished two tone Link with mother of pearl face.
For running, cutting the grass, painting the house, working on the cars, etc, nothing beats my 12 year old beat up Timex Ironman.

Don't even mention Timezone - another sickness on par with Rennist....

So, spend the $12K, it an "investment".

BTW, I assume you guys know about this $150,000 Porsche Design watch.
That's the one I want. Trade it 3 or 4 Porsches, get a Porsche watch. What a deal.

ROLEX Daytona SS (Zenith Movement), Black Face, Steel Bracelet.
Recently serviced at Rolex Center in Germany, and it stays within 2sec +/- per day, and averages being within 7-10 sec +/- per month when measured against my radio/atomic clock. Since it is purely mechanical, variations in temperature, my movements, and how long I wear it each day do affect it, causing it to be less accurate than a quartz watch. BUT, like a 993, the appeal goes beyond having perfect accuracy. A 996 outperfroms a 993, but, as MOST of us agree, it is less fun and engaging to drive and own!

Three Wheelin'
Sector 450
This is my watch - I like it cause its swiss made, sapphire crystal, triple chrono and heavy stainless. I like the bezel cause it reminds me of old-school scientific instrumentatlon. I like the fonts almost as much as the 911 sweeping font!!
