The date is Saturday, July 15th (as stated in my post.. ;-) ). I am now thinking of a morning start to open up the shop and have people who want to DIY get together and "get dirty". I have a reasonably equiped shop so we can get some maintenance/mods done. Later in the afternon we can fire up the BBQ and start to gab session. If that happens then people can come earlier to BS and see what is happening!

Cheers,

Mike

Some updates:

1 - I would like to switch the date one week later to July 22. Would this cause anyone problems?

2 - I have acquired a pressure washer so we can have a underside/wheel well cleaning party in the morning if anyone want's to get soaked.

Hopefully my car will be running 100% by then..

Cheers,

Mike

Mike ... some chance I will be out in the Gulf of Georgia on the 22nd, but you'll never get everybody on one date or the other so I'd just go with what works best for you ... thanks, Doug

Mike,

We still on for the 22nd?? I found a great korean bbq recipe for beef short ribs that I will be marinating a day before your bbq if it is still a go.

I'm already sad to be so far away and miss that party, but now my tongue falls down to the ground!!!!

Rob would you post that recipe after the BBQ...if there is still someone alive?

Yup, absolutely the 22nd! I do not have a confirmed list yet but if anyone who will be coming can PM that that would be great!

i am still open to starting in the morning on two tracks. One is we can jack cars up, take the wheels off and powerwash the inside of fenders etc. The other is to do installations/maintenance like oil changes, HID updates, brake flushes, etc.

Regardless I figure we could start the BBQ late afternoon (say 4:00) and go from there. Should be lots of BS flying!

Cheers,

Mike

Hi guys!

I'm sitting here looking that rain pouring from a thunderstorm which seems to feel confortable staying around... and I think of you guys preparing your cars to run to Mike's bbq!
a bit too far for me! Have fun!

PS how are the short ribs?
