Popping the guages out is on of the easiest things to do. The easiest way is to pop out the fuel/oil gauge and reach through to pop the tach. The worst part is trying to get the unit back in (unless you pop off the steering wheel. Just put some duct tape over the edge of a scraper and use it to pry out the first gauge. The tape will help stop damaging the finish on both the dash and gauge.

So will NHS do a GB?

The tach pulls straight out. Grab firmly around the edges as best you can, and try and either pry up with fingernails, or twist gently out. It's only a friction fit. BTW, checked you PM lately?? ...give me a holler

(best part of spinning the tach is the turn signals pointing up and down. We now refer to right and left as heaven and hell.)

Chris, you should immediately send that defective tach to me - my redline/rev limiter really is up there - and I'll send you a replacement to get redone with the correct redline.
