Took out the 993 and 996 yesterday on a beautiful fall day for a drive with the only other local 993 owner. His is a totally stock Carrera 2 euro spec (brought over from Germany) with Varioram and short-ratio gearbox. Was fun to drive them each back to back and compare the differences. His car definitely felt snappier! Mine is a Carrera 4, non-varioram with USA gearbox.
