Default Gemballa Competition 18" Group Buy???

I just gave in and ordered the full PSS9/TRG setup which means I'd be foolish to not also pull the trigger on 18's at the same time. I've been waiting (and waiting, and waiting and waiting) like several other for Kinesis to release the Supercup II's but the latest word is there is no word so that's that.

Anyone interested in a group buy for 18" Gemballa Competition's a-la David/LA?

who and how can this occur (Gemballa directly, wheel enhancement?). I know I'll kick myself later if I settle for anything less!!!

Here's the prerequisite "before" shot.

I too would be in depending on GB pricing.

Right on WC, glad to see you're keeping the car! Should look tight with the 18's. (we already know it sounds sick with the Mille Miglias. You ever work with Tim over there at Mind Over Mtr Sports? He's a good guy and a 993 owner as well. BTW I think Wheel Enhancement does an excellent job. Not sure how their prices stack up but I like that they are committed to wheels for P-cars.

I'd be very tempted to get a set of these if the GB thing could've worked. Methinks I'll end up with these in the long run . . . as I had a set on order last year just before I found my MY'02 5 spokes. These are probably my favorite wheels. From my dealings with WheelEnhancement last year . . . these wheels ARE NOT easy to get . . . they were going to have to custom order them to even get me a set. I'm not surprised that the GB is not feasible with these.

I call first dibs on any used set that becomes available.

Thanks 2ndof2. Tim is a great guy & his shop does great work. I actually hang out with him & Ryan all the time (can't wait for them to dial that car in..they also did my RS engine mounts & RS clutch/LWF). I'm ALWAYS hanging out at the shop as it's guaranteed to have some wicked cars on hand. Last Friday alone...a Gemballa 996 GTR650 Turbo, several 993 N/A & Turbos in various states of tune, several 993 Race Cars, a Cayman undergoing a factory new 997 3.8 X-51(YES 380bhp) transplant oh and Moton's too (I'm going to get to drive this car soon..I CAN"T WAIT ) and thier recently completed 2005 996 GT3 RUF RGT widebody conversion & DME upgrade, Europipe Loud exhaust & cats, Roll cage, Recaro's, Kinesis K28R's and full Moton treatment. The sound and stance on this (fully street legal) GT3 is simply unbelievable.

I'll try to remember to snap some pics next time I'm there.

hmmmnnn.....my office....????.....hang out at Mind Over Motorsport?? I'm the king of leave for lunch and don't come back!

Scott,

If you plan to upgrade please drop me a line at jmarch68@yahoo.com. I'm looking for a set of 02 lightweights. If you want to upgrade later I'd be willing to trade my perfect 18' turbo twists plus cash for your wheels now.

Cheers,
Joe

Eric - see my sig pic below...not the best shot nor the most flattering angle though. These are also available w/ black centers and surprisingly a fair number of widths and offsets.

From the previous pics that have been posted here those wheels will be well worth the wait...patience.

Just like DavidinLA I think these wheels are one of the best looking wheels you can put on the car even though they are not the lightest. I got lucky with a used set and was able to get them refinished to perfection. Here's another pic for Eric S
