A Carrera on my desk - UPDATED
#76
I just got my clock. Damn, it is one cool and beautiful piece and too nice to leave at the office where it's apt to walk. I love the laser-etched(?) logo on the bottom. Andreas, I am so impressed with this work of art and can't wait to figure out what part of my home it'll grace. I'm thinking it might look good on the dashboard of the 993... I'll post pics when I find a home for it.
Thanks again, buddy.

Mark,
Thank you for the compliments.
As for mounting the clock on your dash, you'll need to remove that large gold crown air freshener first. Goof-Off should help to remove the adhesive.

Andreas,
I got my clock Tuesday... and it is very beautiful, a work of art and creative insperation brought to market!!!! I guess Mark has serial number 00001 as I have 00002 which is very, very cool. I too have to find a spot worthy enough for this masterpiece. Maybe if I clean up my home office....
A job well done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

George,
Thank you for the compliments. Hopefully the clock will tide you over until your 993 is back to its former glory!
Freddy,
PM sent.

Andreas, you should know that Mary thinks the clock is beautiful and loves having the clock over the tv. I love not having to tell her what time it is.
It's just too cool.

Thank you for the comments!
My father received #0001 as a little birthday gift today. He thinks it's pretty damn neat and has busied himself scouting out the best location for it. As a lifelong P-car aficionado, he appreciates the archaic, throw-back design as much as I do. Like father, like son.
