Default Another new DIY exhaust for the 993.... Videos!

Home made bypass pipes! Whatever next...

They are rather rude...

...and can be heard from at least 2 miles away.

They do - it is not uncommon for them to see the lights in the garage on of an evening then hear an engine revving at at least 3 of them to appear at the door to see what I have been up to. They mostly appreciate it - more so now I have a "real" car rather than my previous Audi's

The laughing on that 2nd one is great! Man, that must be loud. As in you're-gonna-get-cited-fer-sure loud. It's always hard to judge volume on a video (since the camera adjusts gain automatically), but even when you were way down the street, it was very clear and obviously loud. Do you have cats on the car, or are those bypassed, too? Oh, one more question. Are you NUTS?

lol, wow- that's pretty loud! Sounds good, even if it's not streetable. I think it would have been a better idea to create similar little bypass pieces to bypass the cat; i.e. instead of big cross pipes, just a pair of little curved pipes to go into your muffler-of-choice. ceboyd's b/f Eric had these on his car; I think Fabspeed made them for a brief time.

I was convinced the Police could hear us and were triangulating our position - it's hard to plead you weren't on it when it makes a noise like that!

The video doesn't really do it justice!

I would be nuts if I considered a cat bypass as well!
