Default 959S For Sale

Anyone else see this car for sale. What a nice collectors item that would be.

I don't know the market on 959's, but that sounds reasonable to me if i had the dough.

Used 959's are more like $200k. So new, who knows what this is worth but I wouldn't think $400k.

That's one of the most pathetic excuses for an ebay listing I've ever seen. I'm sure they don't actually expect to sell this on ebay, just to get the word out that they're selling.

I tend to agree.

I never use e-Bay but I have always wanted to know: Seeing that there is 0 bids, but how come there is a first bid of $375k? Did the seller 'planted' that as a floor? Does e-Bay allow that? I thought they forebid (strange word associated with e-Bay) self-bidding (bid rigging).

Thanks for the education and sorry for the hi-jack. But back on topic. Great car but I'll take a RUF instead.

Pong,

You can set a starting price, a minimum reserve price, and a "buy-it-now" price.

And I'm with you (obviously) on the Ruf.

Sorry guys, I never liked the styling on the 959....too much of the styling looks bolted on.

Now for $400k I could buy a fleet of P cars and really make my neighbors s*#t

For $400k,

I would rather have a fleet of 993s...

Although it may be super fast.. The 959 looks like a vintage 993 to me..

The 959 really has the 993 parts on the body way before the 993 time! I really like the look. On a race track that 959 would just be incredible, but at $400K I can buy some very incredible race cars and have some nice street cars to boot

I live about 15 miles from where the car is. Anyone wants it, send me the cash and I'll pick it up for you. I am that kind of guy.....there for my Rennlist brothers and sisters.

That would cut into the profit margin.
