Default RS Washer Bottle Install - Pics?

I've ordered the RS Washer bottle and bracket (part of my track car diet and inspired by the "Remove the Headlight Washer" thread).

Does anyone have a picture or two of the washer bottle installed in a 993? I searched the archives and found a 964 installation, but not one in a 993.

Thanks,

Don

Perfect - thanks Bill.

Looks like the hose is routed behind the gas tank to the hood. Did you splice into the harness at the old washer motor connection and run across the front of the trunk?

Thanks again,

Don

Is there a big difference in the weight of the bottle itself? Meaning do you save much weight by going w/ a RS bottle vs. keeping the stock one near empty?

Thanks.

Here's mine. Notice also the RS hood pin, after you install that and take the hood shocks out, you'll realize how god damn heave the hood is (I need to get c/f hood).

Jim,

If I remember correctly, stock bottle with motors is about 7-8 lbs and RS (with one motor) is probably less than 2.

Yes, I have my hood shocks off (they were shot anyway) and man, that hood is heavy. I'm using the Seine Systems hood strut.

J-P, you know I want one and also that the price is why I don't have it yet!

That's why I'll probably get C/F instead.

What's wrong with a broom handle and it's eco-friendly to boot if you'll excuse the pun! ;-)

Can't be 100% sure but I'd think the carpet will stretch over this. Might not "fit like a glove" though...
