I missed the thread but not the ebay listing. I would strongly suggest that you correct the misleading info in the ad. While I applaud you for saying you are sorry, doing so does not ever excuse bad behavior or the taking advantage of others. It only indicates that you may have understood and possibly learned from your mistake. The proof is in your actions in the future.

One is not able to delte or edit an ebay add once bids have been placed. one can only add to it...which I don't feel is very effective....as it is posted in small font, and most buyers never even bother to read these additions...but if you guys think it would be good, I will do it.

I've seen eBay ads that were ended early due to "an error in the listing". Then re-listed. Perhaps that is an option?

It's not a formal appology until you post a pic of yourself like this one:

I was always curious as to what type of people wrote these idiotic ads on Ebay. I guess we know now.

I wonder what the people think of having pictures of their cars used in that ad without their permission.

$100 for shipping in the USA is VERY reasonable! I paid $200 for shipping for the SAME bumper to my house!

I JUST shipped my FACTORY rear bumper to Los Altos via Greyhound for $80. The fee on the box when I received it via DHL was $100. THis is the honest truth. THat guys iwll loose BIG money if he ships for $40.

What a joke.

"WOW, ARE YOU SERIOUS! This bumper cover is RARE!"

"When I bought it, it was the first and ONLY EVER to be posted on ebay."

"THIS PEICE IS ONLY SOLD IN EUROPEAN PORSCHE DEALERS!"

"NOT for sale in the USA UNTIL NOW!!!!!"

"I am a 100% positive feedback seller with 266 positive feedbacks!"

Only all the above is bull**** on Adam's auction so it's not that bad...

Adam, below is a quote from earlier post on this page:

"one can only add to it...which I don't feel is very effective....as it is posted in small font, and most buyers never even bother to read these additions...but if you guys think it would be good, I will do it."

Riiight... Take a look at what you added to the action (big font doesn't show in these post but I'll add the thext here for easy reference anyway) and pay attention to the font size since it is the BIGGEST font size on that auction...

"On Jan-23-06 at 08:49:12 PST, seller added the following information:
FEEL FREE TO MAKE BUY IT NOW OFFERS!!!!!"

Adam...remember..."Be Good"

You know that eBay listing is full of BS. Also...Rennlister's tags being displayed without owners permission...not cool at all!

We accepted the apology, but we expected you to correct your actions. No corrections have been made. Please live up to your part of the deal and do what's right.

Adam, it seems to me that you might want to pull your E-bay listing. It's not all that bad, but it's bad enough that you probably don't want the reputation that your going to end up with if you keep it up there. This community is trying to help you out and not totally alienate you, but you are not making it easy. By not listening to what they are asking(politely, weather you think so or not) you to do, you might as well be throwing sand in their induction. Please don't keep ignoring them, unless you like/want the abuse your getting.

If those cars pics are there without permission, it's not cool at all.

If the pictures with tags showing are without permission, that's much more than just not cool.

zekksw, link to the auction was already on page 2 but here it is again.
