Old Yeller-Wiper Arms WOW
This Trizact system surprises me at every corner. You can see the difference before and after. the top arm was lightly sanded with the 3000 grit wet and buffed out using the 4" DA. It really brought it back to life. the bottom one was what it looked like before I stated. it only took 15 min. to do. What a difference.

I am slowly putting it back together. Wait till you see the marking lamps. You actually sand those as well with the wet 3000 grit and buff out. Even though I won't be using them I wanted to see how the polish out. They will look new. So far I have installed the new tail lights, hood badge, new headlamp lenses. All the TT parts go to the paint shop this week. I hope I will be done in a couple of weeks. The wheels and tires are in. It goes in for the 60K service after the paint shop and I will be painting the calipers at that time as well.

Mike, when all this work is finished, make sure you pick the right moment in time to drive home. I say that because two years ago after my re-paint, and on my way home with my "new 964" someone almost went into my rear as a truck was making a U-turn and I had no where to go, except stop on a blind corner...Well I turned as white as my car,and my jeans as yellow as yours!! All is true except the last part... You are doing one fine job, nice one, for the third time...
Take care,
Marc.

Up to now, I've been doing all of my polishing/shining by hand. But I see the day, soon, that I will be getting a DA polisher--I like the idea of pulling the markers/lenses and wet sanding/polishing them up.
Once it warms up a bit around here, I think I'll jump on getting the Bat Mobile all spiffed up.
So, note to self, pull wheels, clean wheels, clean wells, wet sand markers, install new headlamp lenses, buff wiper arms, install new suspension, etc.

TIP: When you replace the headlight lenses take a clean microfiber towel and wipe down the inside chrome LIGHTLY. It will remove all the haze. I found this DIY on P-car.com. It really makes the headlights look new.

I got them from Gert at www.carnewal.com for a 150.00 Euros for both lenses. He has a conversion chart on his website. He is the best. I live in KY and I get them faster than if I ordered it here in the states.
