Default Porsche Technical Service Docs

Have you guys seen this?

https://techinfo.porsche.com/techinf...e=MainFrameSet

While the US site has almost everything for sale, the Swedish site has the "training documents" available for download. The only problem for us is that they are for the 996 model, but I figure I would post, maybe they will become usefull to some folks...

so from this site:
https://techinfo.porsche.com/techinfo/index.jsp

Choose Sweden as your country and go to the "training documents". You will find PDF's like these:

https://techinfo.porsche.com/techinf..._2001_911c.pdf

I have to explore the other countries, maybe we will get lucky and have our stuff there, but the US site does not have them readily available like the Swedish site...

Wow, thanks Danny. I wonder if it is a mistake... everything else is inside a login. Download while you can.

Great info. The CGT information is facinating.

Hmmm, I can get to all the pages...including Lithuania! Not sure if the site looks at your originiating IP and figures out you should be restricted (I am in Canada)? Did you go from the home page down?

I've only ever seen the equivalent manuals for the 964/993 available in hardcopy (the p2p networks don't even have them) and then only if you attended training in Nevada, PCNA never offered them for sale. The trick is to find someone that is retiring.

The 993 (amongst others) factory Workshop Manuals are available under the Technical Service Programme in PDF format, but at a cost here of 140 euros a chapter.

You need to sign up to see them offered ... cheers, Maurice

These manuals are "different", they contain additional information that is not included in the Technical Workshop manuals. The Workshop manuals show you how to remove and install things, the training manuals tell you how and why things work the way they do. They don't contain anything earth-shattering but they definitely make it easier to understand certain things.
