nice pics! I was there two weeks ago (SCDA), and will be there again this saturday (COM). Definitely planning to take it very, very easy on the cold track, but couldn't resist the lure of one last trackday before winter

Nice pics but that last one is a painful one for me. That is where I lost my 94 3.6 Turbo after a suspension failure. It was NASTY as I was doing well over 100 when the rear end came around with morning dew on the grass, accelerating me towards the tires...... I was lucky, very lucky that I had no more injury other than bruising from the belts.

Bob,

Just curious -- What exactly happened with the suspension failure? Did something break loose? Also, what do you think was the root cause - bad stock parts, a mod that was not done well, etc.

Sorry, just trying to learn, as I am newbie.

VB - you must have been flying up the uphill to be over 100 in that section - whew ...... Did you catch air over the hill? What was your best lap time with the 3.6 ?

The front sway bar link snapped as I was coming through the turn. Next thing that happened was that the rear end just spun as I was past the apex but still tracking out so the rear tires hit the dirt immediately and I was going for a ride. Problem was that I was then going sideways in wet grass toward the inside of the track. No way to recover before the tire wall. Worst accident I have ever been in... The Turbo was modified and regeared. I ran in the 58-59 second range at LRP. I did go out later in the day in a buddies Fabcar 911. Got to get back on the horse....

Ryan - I just reread your post. A GT3 rolled? Where? Hope no one was hurt.

Bob,
Don't know all the details. I believe it was right after the uphill or during. And yes the driver is ok.
