Default My Dog Took it

I took my car in for its annual inspection this morning and found out the backup lights were not coming on. It was a great day here in SE PA and I figured I'd better take a look at it before it gets too cold. So this afternoon I set out to find out where the problem is. During the process, I removed the plastic cover that sits on top of the center section of the rear lights and placed it next to the car on the ground. There are five little fasteners that hold the cover on. After checking a few things, I ended up finding the switch in the trans is the problem. Anyhow, when I went to put ithe cover back on, I noticed one of the fasteners was missing. I looked all over for it and then noticed my 2 year old, 115 lb, black lab stairing at me. He loves to pick up things and carry them off. I started yelling at him, accusing him of stealing it. He just rolled over on his back, way too cute to get mad at. A while back, when I was doing the suspension, he stole one of the nuts. Anyone have a part number for one of these fasteners? The picture below shows the part I'm talking about.

Thanks,

Shawn

Damn dogs. My Yorkshire Terrorist has eaten two keys off my computer keyboard, at two different times of course. And of course one can't buy just the key, but must buy the entire keyboard, $100 a whack.

Bobby: What type of keyboard? I'd be happy to replace it with any of the Microsoft Keyboards.

Hi Dennis,

Thanks for the offer. They were both laptops, both already replaced. Dog is still alive, after also gnawing her way into my heart...

Shawn,
Both my neighbor's and my 993 are missing the same caps, but didn't bother to order them. Would you let us know if you have success in replacing it and where.

thx
